Sometimes I Felt Weightless...
"Sometimes I Felt Weightless When I Was Flying Down My Street"
This is what I remember of my childhood, growing up in the vibrant community of the Kensington Market in downtown Toronto. The freedom of flying down the street on my bicycle, climbing the fire escape on the side of the building we lived in, the exotic colors the recent immigrants from the Azores painted their homes. A whirlwind of color and joy and excitement and endless possibilities in a whimsical wire sculpture.
